MedTech Materials, LLC is a technical and commercial advisory and consulting firm that provides technical expertise to medical startups as well as established, large device producers on materials such as polymer based products and metals.

Our mission is to assist entrepreneurs through their journey in medical applications with the highest performance material selection for their product offerings.

MedTech Materials, LLC is founded in Atlanta,GA by Cihan Uzunpinar, PhD who earned his PhD in Polymer and Fiber Engineering from Auburn University and his MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology. He has over 15 years experience in chemical industry from process engineering, product development to strategy and market development.

Our expertise on material selection and processing such as 3D printing, injection molding, extrusion and textile production will enable the most cost effective methods for prototype development and scale up. Our firm specializes in providing technical expertise on material selection from prototype development to large volume production based on the needs and specifications of the final medical device. In addition, we can assist finding global and domestic manufacturers and support process optimization through Lean Six Sigma process.
